CMS is a modern, boutique style outplacement/career transition firm that has long been ahead of its time. Since 1981, we have developed a reputation for providing human, holistic and helpful resources to our long standing HR clients when difficult organizational changes must be addressed. We are an efficient, stream-lined operation that maintains low overheads and utilizes high-tech solutions to develop meaningful career transition solutions so that almost every company, no matter their size, can provide compassionate, empowering and personalized career transition help to employees of all levels.

We are specialists in career transition, and are focused on developing the most effective strategies for Canadian job seekers. For the last 40 years, we have worked with tens of thousands of job search candidates of all levels and from all industries – from frontline operators to C-suite executives. Our services are available from coast-to-coast and
are offered in both official languages.

Since my family started CMS in 1981, I have been involved in its development.  Whether it be stuffing envelopes or answering phones in my youth, to managing outplacement programs after graduating from university, to designing new programs and managing the general operations as President today, I have made a career out of helping others to find new purpose and passion for their careers.  

At CMS, our mission is to soften the impact of difficult employment terminations, for all parties concerned.  My primary job is to ensure that we provide highly personal and highly responsive service to you and your HR team when you are faced with a difficult situation.

Carlayne Gilbertson, CPC, Senior CMS Program Coach / High Performance Program Coach

Carlayne’s passion for people is undeniable.  Her curiosity about what makes people do what they do, what motivates some to strive to their ultimate potential, while others let themselves fall to defeat, is core to her coaching practice.

She compassionately works with clients to help them to create awareness, intention, and motivation to find true fulfillment in key areas of their lives – and also to build resilience in preparation for life’s more difficult moments.

Carlayne has worked in the performance improvement business for over 20 years working with some world renowned thought leaders including Stephen Covey, Tony Robbins and Brendan Bouchard. 

Carlayne is a certified Strategic Intervention Coach from The Robbins Madanes Institute and is certified in High Performance Coaching.  



 Lisa Petsinis, CHRL, Senior CMS Program Coach / HR Consultant

Lisa Petsinis is a seasoned coach, career counselor, and HR professional who offers consulting and coaching services.  She has a background in human resources of more than 20 years across diverse industries and she has led every human resources function with roles including Senior HR Business Partner, Manager of HR Process & Projects, Director of Organizational Effectiveness, Director of Employee Services, and Director of Compensation, Benefits and HR Systems.  

She has a passion for people capability and she has left the organizations with which she has worked stronger through solid HR foundations, more engaged employees, more capable leaders, stronger teams and better business results.

Lisa is a Certified HR Leader with the HRPA, an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), a Certified Career Development Coaching Specialist, a Certified Strong Interest Inventory® and MBTI® Myers-Briggs Type Indicator facilitator.



Daphna Gale, PCC, CPC, Senior CMS Program Coach / French Language Program Manager

Daphna began coaching and facilitating learning programs, more than 20 years ago.  She has supported leaders of all levels and in multiple industries, to achieve the growth and development they aim for.

Daphna’s strength lies in supporting individuals at a deeper level. Her mission is to help people see their potential, and she understands how to link vision with strategy.

Daphna is a bilingual Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), a Certified Executive Coach, and a Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Time Line Therapy™.  Daphna is also certified in Myers-Briggs (MBTI) Level I & II; STLI 360; CPI-260; the Work Personality Index (WPI); Situational Leadership II and more.
