Louise A. Hack,
President

As a strategic partner to Human Resource clients across the country, Louise works at the grassroots level, on all aspects of employee transition projects, to help ease stress, save time and ensure that employees are treated with the utmost respect and care.

She has a long standing relationship with many of our HR clients providing them with fair, quality services, and timely customer service that CMS’ name has become synonymous with.  Her priority is to be easily available when tenuous circumstances arise that need quick attention and assist with the coordination of difficult employee meetings across the country.

Along with daily operations management, Louise often works onsite in clients’ office assisting HR managers with individual or group termination interviews, helping to make a difficult day as easy as possible for all parties affected.

Louise began her career with CMS in an administrative capacity after graduation in 1993, and learned the intricacies of the business by moving through various departments; managing candidate programs, writing résumés, designing and writing program materials, managing corporate accounts and promotions, through to overall operations management as President.

Carlayne Gilbertson,
Director, Program Coaching

Carlayne has over 20 years experience in the performance improvement business. Her career began with The Franklin Covey Company, where for 12 years as a Client Partner she worked closely with corporations, and individuals implementing organizational wellness and personal growth training in the areas of productivity, communication, leadership, and execution.

Carlayne completed her certification as a Strategic Intervention Life Coach in 2014 from the Robbins Madanes Insitute, and has spent the last two years coaching individuals of all levels and ages through their career transitions and personal challenges, with CMS.  She has also successfully completed her Performance Coaching Certification with one of the most experienced and successful coaches in the country.  She is fully certified as an Elite: High Performance Associate Coach and Trainer.

Carlyane has a natural ability to connect deeply with her clients. Her honesty, energy and enthusiasm, and her inherent desire to help people is contagious. She brings compassionate awareness to her clients, helping them to let go of old beliefs that no longer serve them, but hold them back from being the best, most authentic people they can be.

Alan H. Hack,
Founding Partner & Director, Résumé Writing Services

Alan is currently the senior Résumé Writing Specialist for CMS Career Management Solutions Inc. based in Toronto. He was one of the original founders of CMS in 1981, and has been closely associated with the company ever since.

During those 35 years he has helped thousands of job-seekers from CEOs to front line operators develop the strong self-marketing documents that are necessary to compete effectively in the ultra-competitive employment market. When a client reads his own résumé, can see that everything written in it is true, and can say to him or herself: “YES I would hire that person.” Alan knows that it’s been a job well done and the client can step out into the market with added confidence. That is what gives Alan Hack his greatest pleasure and motivates him to carry on helping people in this way.

Prior to starting CMS, Alan gained first hand corporate sales and marketing experience with CIBA Laboratories, IBM UK, IBM Canada, and Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC).
